With R5M, the TV does not run often. The reasons for this are of course up to you to interpret; we do not want to go into them here.

Nevertheless, a few minutes ago we saw an advertising break:

Among other things, a “smart” advertisement from RWE on the topic of efficient energy management, including via smartphone.

It shows a woman increasing the temperature for her living room from about 18° Celsius to 20° Celsius on her smartphone (the brand of the manufacturer does not matter here).

So far, this is a great thing.

(Now let's briefly consider the current season) - After a hard cut, the entire family is shown in the "cozy" living room. So far, so good.

But the huge panoramic window shows a late spring or early autumn "atmosphere". We ask ourselves: couldn't the clip have been filmed with a bit of snow in the background? Was that not taken into account in the schedule? Did the shoot have to take place in September, for example? Wouldn't it have been possible to reshoot the scene or sequence thanks to a sufficient advertising budget? Or do the ladies and gentlemen responsible think: "whatever, we've got some great footage in the can - authenticity isn't important and viewers won't pay attention to it anyway"?

Be that as it may, we at R5M already know why we only switch on our TV sets when it is needed.

“That was the word on Sunday.”
