Geretsried Forest Summer – A festival for all generations

The Forest Summer Festival is as much a part of Geretsried as the Isar River is to the Upper Bavarian region – and in 2026, the popular folk festival will once again be the summer highlight of the region. July 24 to August 2 The festival grounds at the Jahnstraße into a vibrant mix of tradition, music, enjoyment and pleasure.

For ten days, a lively folk festival atmosphere prevails. The large festival tent forms the heart of the forest summer: here, families, groups of friends and clubs meet for cool drinks, Bavarian delicacies and atmospheric live music.

Right next to it, the shady beer garden inviting you to linger – perfect for warm summer evenings, where the strings of lights above the tables create a unique forest summer atmosphere.
